Upon Course Completion, The Practitioner Will:

Demonstrate sound knowledge of the biophysiological effects of shockwaves on human tissue, including the expected healing times and different tissue response.
Demonstrate an understanding of device maintenance and handpiece revisions.
Demonstrate the ability to apply the correct technique, pressure, consistency, and treatment protocols.
Demonstrate the ability to correctly administer acoustic wave therapy utilizing the appropriate applicator, and adjust treatment protocols as required.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of their scope with acoustic wave therapy application, including the contraindications and risks associated with certain treatment.
Be able to explain the therapeutic effects of acoustic wave therapy to clients in well understood language.
Demonstrate a firm understanding of acoustic wave therapy science.
