Be able to explain the difference between radial shockwave therapy and shockwave therapy to clients in well understood language
Demonstrate sound knowledge of their scope with shockwave therapy application, including the contraindications and risks associated with certain treatment.
Demonstrate the ability to properly clean and sanitize the device, recognize malfunctions, and perform standard maintenance procedures, such as hand piece revisions.
Demonstrate the ability to apply the correct technique, pressure, consistency, and treatment protocols.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the biophysiological effects of shockwaves on human tissue, including the expected healing times and different tissue response..
